I am passionate about helping people regain a sense of agency and build healthier, more supportive connections with others. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship and attachment concerns, perfectionism, workplace stress, burnout, and life transitions. Drawing from more than 30 years of experience in corporate healthcare leadership, I understand the challenges that can arise in both personal and professional roles. I have a particular interest in supporting professionals and emerging leaders as they navigate workplace stress, burnout, career transitions, leadership challenges, communication concerns, and work-life balance. My approach is collaborative, person-centered, and trauma-informed. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel empowered, supported, and connected to their values. Together, we can create a space where you feel heard, understood, and equipped to move toward the life you want to build. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time in nature, being around animals, tending to roses, reading, and practicing yoga.

Hey there! Thanks for taking the time to learn a bit more about me, the process of finding a therapist can be a daunting process... but I am here every step of the way. I work primarily with children, teens, and young adults, and much of my experience comes from both outpatient therapy and higher levels of care. I am currently EMDR in training, which can be used for many individuals of all ages. These experiences have shaped me into who I am as a counselor and helped me feel confident supporting more complex situations with individuals while still keeping therapy approachable and human. At the core of my work is a deep passion for trauma. I believe trauma can look very different from person to person, and I strive to create a space where individuals don't feel the need to compare or minimize their story, even if they don't know exactly what that story is. My goal is to help you feel safe enough to be real, understood enough to feel seen, and supported enough to make meaningful changes. My ~style~ is highly relational, warm, and engaged. I tend to bring a lot of energy and authenticity into sessions, which helps individuals feel more comfortable being themselves in the space. I also am not afraid to gently and strategically challenge and help lean into the discomfort that often comes with real healing and growth. I truly see counseling as both a science and an art form. Above all, therapy should feel like a space where you are not talking in circles, but actually moving forward to create change in whatever way that looks like.

Hi, I’m Kendall! I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2023 and am currently finishing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University, with plans to graduate in December. I have experience working with children through Applied Behavioral Analysis and as a teacher for upper elementary students. These roles helped shape my calm, patient approach and reinforced my passion for supporting people through life’s challenges. I’m especially interested in working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, and the impact of traumatic experiences. In sessions, I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients work toward their goals in a way that feels practical and empowering. Creating a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space is very important to me. I want you to feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself, and I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is key to meaningful change. Outside of work, I enjoy being creative through painting and knitting, and I love spending time outdoors—whether that’s going for a walk or playing a round of golf.

Growing up can be magical, messy, exciting, and overwhelming — sometimes all before lunchtime. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSW-A), I am passionate about creating a space where children and adolescents can untangle big feelings, build confidence, and discover their inner strengths in a way that feels safe and empowering. I believe every child has a unique story, and sometimes they just need a supportive place to tell it, whether through words, play, art, laughter, or even silence. My role is not to “fix,” but to walk alongside your child with curiosity, compassion, and care as they navigate anxiety, big emotions, friendship struggles, life transitions, grief, trauma, self-esteem challenges, or behavioral concerns. Grounded in person-centered therapy and CBT, I combine warmth and collaboration with practical, skill-building strategies tailored to each child’s unique needs. With a background in inpatient facilities, after-school programs, and crisis settings, I have experience supporting children and adolescents experiencing acute mental health challenges. These experiences strengthened my ability to remain calm, compassionate, and grounded during difficult moments while reinforcing my belief in the resilience of young people. Whether a child is navigating everyday stressors or more intensive emotional struggles, I bring a steady, supportive presence and a deep commitment to their safety and well-being. My goal is to create a therapeutic environment that feels warm, engaging, and genuine, a place where children feel seen, heard, and accepted just as they are. I strive to help your child not only navigate current challenges but also build the tools and confidence they can carry with them into the future. Through our work together, I hope to foster emotional awareness, resilience, and self-trust so they feel better equipped to handle life’s ups and downs. Therapy is not just about getting through difficult moments, it is about helping children grow into empowered, capable individuals who understand their strengths and feel confident using them.

Being a kid, teen, or young adult today can feel like a lot. Big feelings, school stress, friendship drama, family changes, and the pressure of “what’s next.” The good news? You don’t have to face it alone. That’s what I’m here for! I love helping kids with autism build confidence, discover what makes them shine, and find tools that actually work! I also support teens and college students navigating stress, anxiety, and all the ups and downs of growing up. Therapy with me isn’t about sitting stiffly on a couch. You can show up exactly as you are, silly, anxious, quiet, loud, or overwhelmed. We’ll tackle the hard stuff, celebrate wins, and practice strategies that make life feel lighter! For my younger clients, play is the magic. I keep my space full of Play-Doh, crayons, paint, games, and fidgets! Mess, laughter, and creativity are encouraged always. Therapy here isn’t just helpful. It can be fun, exciting, and even joyful!

Welcome! I am passionate about creating a space where children, teens, and their families feel accepted, understood, and empowered. I specialize in working with neurodivergent individuals, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. I provide therapy for children and teens, and also offer parent coaching sessions to support caregivers independently in navigating the challenges of raising a neurodiverse child. Raising a neurodiverse child can come with unique challenges related to emotional regulation, sensory sensitivities, and behavior. I work closely with families to understand the “why” behind behaviors and provide practical, evidence-informed strategies that support progress at home and beyond. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each child’s needs, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and play-based techniques to help children build coping skills, strengthen emotional awareness, and navigate social experiences. When working with parents, I incorporate CBT-informed strategies and parent coaching to help you feel more confident and equipped—and yes, we might laugh, keep it real, and even cuss a little along the way. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, whether as a parent or for your child, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I’m here to support you.

I’m someone who has always been deeply curious about people — how we heal, how we grow, and how we remember who we truly are beneath all the noise. At heart, I’m both a scientist and a seeker. I love understanding the brain and behavior just as much as I love exploring consciousness, meaning, and the invisible threads that connect us all. My life has been a blend of psychology, personal growth, spirituality, and everyday human experience — learning not only from books and degrees, but from motherhood, relationships, challenges, and the quiet moments that shape us from the inside out. Storytelling has always been part of how I make sense of the world. I’m a children’s book author, with another book on the way, inspired by my love for helping young minds feel empowered, curious, and connected to themselves. I’ve also had the unique honor of serving as an assistant producer on a spiritual documentary that later found its way onto Netflix — a project that beautifully bridged science, consciousness, and the deeper questions we all carry about life and purpose. Outside of my professional world, I’m a mom, a horse and dog-lover, a traveler, and a lifelong learner. I find joy in simple things — morning coffee, deep conversations, laughter with my kids, and long walks to reset and reflect. I believe growth doesn’t have to be dramatic or complicated; often it’s simply choosing to show up more honestly and fearlessly each day. Everything I do, personally and professionally, is guided by the same intention: to live consciously, love deeply, and help others trust themselves enough to create lives that feel aligned, meaningful, and truly their own.
