Or perhaps you are grieving a loved one or navigating life changes that feel overwhelming. You are not alone. I provide compassionate, non-judgmental support for individuals navigating substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges. With this specialized training, I bring a brain-based, trauma-informed approach to therapy, equipping me to support clients with complex needs, including substance use, trauma, grief, and other mental health challenges. My clinical practice draws on evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Mindfulness-Based Interventions. This diverse toolkit allows me to tailor therapy to each person’s unique needs, fostering resilience, relapse prevention, and long-term recovery. I offer individual counseling for substance use, anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma, as well as group counseling to build connection, accountability, and shared healing. In addition, I provide speaking engagements and workshops designed to reduce stigma, promote awareness, and strengthen communities around addiction and mental wellness. Are you tired of carrying old wounds, feeling the weight of anxiety, or being in relationships that leave you drained? Maybe you feel bad setting boundaries, your mind won't stop racing, or it's difficult to feel at ease. If any of this sounds familiar, you’re in the right place. Hi, I’m Victoria! A therapist, recovering people-pleaser, and professional healer of messy relationships, anxious minds, and trauma stories. Therapy with me is about uncovering what’s holding you back and learning tools that actually work. I know how overwhelming it can be, and that’s why I’m here to help you work through the emotions, build confidence in your voice and relationships, and heal the parts of you that carry pain. I deeply care about my clients and will always show up with honesty, warmth, (humour if needed), and real support as you grow. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, kind of like trying to build IKEA furniture when you can't find the manual (or that missing screw). But you don’t have to do it alone. Together, we’ll take it one step at a time so the pieces start to fit and life begins to feel lighter again. I'm ready to help you create the life you’ve been wanting.

Do you struggle to cope in a neurotypical world? You may be feeling burnt out, lonely, or like you’re drowning. As an AuDHD therapist who has experienced all these feelings and more, you’ll know you’re working with someone who gets it and will meet you where you’re at. Executive functioning is HARD, and emotion regulation can feel impossible some days. We all need a safe space to unmask, so I've set up my virtual space with crystals, homemade art, and vinyl records for relaxing vibes. I use nervous system regulation, emotion regulation, DBT skills for neurodivergent folx, CBT, art therapy & more. I’m here to help you work towards your goals while providing support along the way! As an LCMHCA & LCASA, I am passionate about working with individuals experiencing both mental health and substance abuse/misuse. I began in the field in 2021 and have worked with a diverse group of clients. Due to my own experiences, I’m very passionate about working with women’s issues, autism, addictions, ADHD signs & symptoms, nervous system regulation, depression, anxiety, suicide loss & ideation. If you haven’t heard this recently: thank you for being here, you are strong to face this crazy world. If you’re looking for a counselor who is curious & wants to learn from you while assisting you in your mental health journey, welcome. As an AuDHD counselor, I offer a safe & judgement-free zone for you to unmask and talk through emotions, big or small.

I believe that every person is a human being with a story, strengths, struggles, and hopes. As a person-centered clinician, my guiding principle is to meet you exactly where you are — with warmth, presence, and genuine curiosity. My goal is to walk alongside you as you reconnect with your strengths, uncover new perspectives, help you make sense of what’s happening, and empower you to move towards a more balanced, fulfilling life. I approach therapy from a place of genuine humanity by meeting clients as one person to another. At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship, built on trust, warmth, and authenticity. You don’t have to have it all figured out; we’ll take it one step at a time, together. In our work, you can expect a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can show up as you are, and genuine collaboration as we set goals and explore new ways of thinking. My approach is flexible and rooted in person-centered values, as therapy is not a one size fits all. I utilize a strengths perspective, and draw from evidence based practice to include ACT, DBT, CBT, and brief solution-focused therapy to fit your unique needs. I focus on the whole person—mind, body, relationships, culture, and values—because all parts of your story matter. Outside of session, I’m someone who loves to travel and discover new places, spend time with my family and friends, and read. I have recently picked up running and love finding new hobbies to try! I have a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and my Master's Degree in Social Work from Fayetteville State University. I am currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate, and I am taking my clinical exam this fall. If you’ve been looking for a therapist who is warm, accepting, and genuinely committed to walking beside you, I’d be honored to be that for you. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to take one step. I look forward to meeting you!

Are you looking for a therapist who just gets it? Do you find most therapists just sit on the sidelines and don’t fully engage? Do you find you need someone to challenge you? If so, then it sounds like we would be a great fit! I am a wife, a mom, a friend, and a person who lives with a chronic illness. I have been in the therapy world for over a decade and specialize in many areas due to my years in the field. I am passionate about chronic illness and pain, autoimmune, complex medical issues, women’s issues (allll of them!) men’s issues (alll of them!), relationship issues, marital issues (couples counseling direct/reality based), codependency, narcissism, self esteem/self confidence/self love and self sabotage, weight issues/obesity just to name a few. I truly feel like my ideal client is someone who has tried it all, has been “stuck” who just can’t seem to make the change because maybe they have a strong personality, or are really shy and can’t put themselves out there, if that sounds like you, reach out to schedule. You took the first step, and that was the hardest, you got this, and I can’t wait to meet you!
